Steven Spielberg's new movie The Fabelmans is the director's most personal film over the past five decades of his storied career. The coming-of-age story is racking up nominations for awards season, as critics praise the film as not only a love letter to moviemaking, but a heart-wrenching examination of love, family, and the power of storytelling.

The movie follows the Fabelmans, a Jewish-American family living in Arizona post-World War II. The semi-autobiographical film, which marks Spielberg's first time incorporating details of his own life into one of his films, sees the young Sammy Fabelman (played by Mateo Zoryon Francis-Deford as a child and Gabriel LaBelle as a young man) discover his love of movies and learns while growing up with his encouraging mother Mitzi (Michelle Williams) and logical father Burt (Paul Dano), who reduces his passion to a hobby.

Though the heartfelt film is still playing in theaters, viewers have the option to see this fictional version of Spielberg's early days from home. See how to watch the movie below.
