Tatiana Suarez is no stranger to comebacks, and now UFC fans can revisit her journey in HBO's The Unbreakable Tatiana Suarez. The documentary, which will be available to stream on January 31 on Max, follows Suarez as she reflects on the various physical and mental challenges she's faced over the span of her decade-long career as a professional fighter.

In 2021, Suarez suffered a severe knee injury during a training session, which resulted in a torn ACL, LCL, MCL, and meniscus. At the time, she took to Instagram to reassure fans that she planned to return to the sport once she fully healed. "When I make my comeback, it's going to be amazing...I'm going to stay positive," she said in a post.

The newly-released trailer for her documentary shows footage of Suarez years ago when she injured her neck during a wrestling competition while she was trying to qualify for the 2012 Olympics.

While receiving scans on her neck, doctors discovered a growth on her thyroid that turned out to be cancerous. This led to radiation therapy and several lymph node removals in 2011. Once cancer-free, Suarez took up jiujitsu, which eventually led her to MMA. "The journey makes you a better person if you use the obstacles to make you better," she says in one clip.
