Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear, and the rest of the Muppet bunch are headed to the small screen once again!

Starting February 19, you’ll be able to take a stroll down memory lane and stream all five seasons of The Muppet Show on Disney+. Whether you’ll be reveling in the nostalgia, or introducing your kids to these fun puppet friends for the first time, a marathon of The Muppet Show sounds like the perfect recipe for a cozy winter night. Follow it up with some of the best '70s movies for a true throwback! Pause for enthusiasm.

Jim Henson’s Emmy Award-winning variety show first aired in 1976, and it included original sketches, songs, and much more. It also notably featured a star-studded roster of guests like John Denver, Liza Minnelli, Elton John, Diana Ross, Julie Andrews, and Gene Kelly.

Kermit himself announced the news, saying, “To all of you Muppet fans out there I proudly say it’s time to play the music, it’s time to light the lights, it’s time to meet the Muppets on Disney+ tonight.”

He was also careful to warn the infamous cantankerous duo, Statler and Waldorf. “I can only add, I’m really sorry guys, but here we go again," he said.

Other Muppets chimed in on Twitter, such as Fozzie Bear who hoped the show would "prove once and for all that my jokes improve with age.” And of course, Miss Piggy had something to say on the matter: “A star is born! Want to see where the world first discovered moi?”

While seasons 1-3 have been previously available online, this is the first time you can stream seasons 4-5. And real fans will enjoy the other offerings Disney+ has available, including The Muppet Movie, Muppet Treasure Island, and Muppets Most Wanted.
