The 'candy challenge trend' is the ultimate test of obedience.

Witney Carson tested just how obedient her 2-year-old son Leo is with the viral candy trend.

The Dancing With the Stars pro, 29, shared a video of her take on the popular trend where parents leave a sweet treat or candy in front of their kids before telling them not to eat it and walking away.

"You can have this candy when mommy comes back, okay?" Carson explained to her toddler while placing a handful of M&M's into a white bowl on the table before him.

"Okay, so don't eat it until I get back, okay?" she asks him once more before little Leo nods and responds, "Okay!"

"Okay, be right back," Carson said while stepping out of frame.

The video showed Leo struggling to hold it together as he was tempted to eat some M&M's. "Eat it mama," he said while looking around the room for his mom.

Leo sat in the chair and put his hands in the bowl of M&M's, seemingly going in for a quick bite, but he refrained and continued obeying his mom's rules–how cute!

Carson eventually returns and immediately checks in to see if he waited for her, "did you wait for mommy? Wow, you can eat it now! Thank you for listening."

"Candy challenge with my two year old! I love him so dang much it hurtsssss," Carson continued gushing in the caption.

Carson shares Leo with her husband, Carson McAllister, and the dancer recently revealed that the couple is expecting baby number two!
