Watch Dr. Pimple Popper Yank Out a Juicy Rib Cage Lipoma
Dr Sandra Lee, MD—aka Dr. Pimple Popper—removes a sizable lipoma on a man’s rib cage in her latest instagram video.
The patient is author Jax Spenser, husband of Drag Race judge Michelle Visage.
A lipoma is a fatty lump that appears frequently between the skin and muscle layers. They are often benign but on rare occasions they can be cancerous.
In a new Instagram video, Dr. Sandra Lee, MD—aka Dr. Pimple Popper—removes a lipoma from a special guest: Author Jax Spenser, husband of Ru Paul's Drag Race judge Michelle Visage.
At the beginning of the video, she jokes that Spenser is getting ready for his "boudoir shot"—and that wasn’t the only joke to be made. There were plenty of laughs in Dr. Lee's office during the lipoma-removal procedure; she, Visage, and Spenser even named the fatty growth “Larry the lipoma”.
The lipoma was rather large, but Dr. Lee removed the lipoma fairly quickly. After cutting the affected area open, Dr. Lee used her fingers to squeeze around it and to force the growth out of Spenser's rib cage.
Lipomas are fatty growths that form between the skin and muscle layers. They do not always need to be removed, but when they are painful, growing, or appear undesirable to the eye (and hey, who wants to keep that there, right?), it might be best to get them checked out.
Once the growth was removed, Dr. Lee remarks that it “came out nicely."
“He might even be your new #mcm!,” she wrote in the video’s description.
