Since Dr. Sandra Lee, MD created her Dr. Pimple Popper YouTube account in October, 2010, the dermatologist's graphic popping videos have raked in more than 3 billion views (and counting!). Today, we went digging to check out some of the TLC star's most popular videos of all time, and reader, the archives did not disappoint.
Our investigation led us to a 2016 video in which Lee treats a patient with some serious-and we mean serious-blackheads on their back. It opens with Lee clearing out a gnarly inflamed blackhead-a process that involves a whole lot of scraping, but just a moderate amount of pus.
However, the true star of the show isn't the inflamed blackhead, but a different blackhead lurking lower down on a patient's back. Lee seems to address it on a whim, and boy, does it ever pay off. (We suddenly understood why this video has more than 62 million views!) With just a little press of her comedone extractor, the blackhead unleashes a torrent of pus that made our jaws drop.
"Oh my goodness this is a good one! Look at this one!" Lee cries as the pus comes spiraling out. "That one was like a mystery one!"
Fans were thrilled by the surprise blackhead toward the end.
"I don't understand how all that can fit into one tiny pore," one commenter said. (We don't understand either, TBH.)
