In a new Instagram video, Dr. Pimple Popper—aka dermatologist and TLC host Dr. Sandra Lee, MD—drains creamy “filling” from a patient’s earlobe cyst. This is certainly a pop to remember.

In the clip, Dr. Lee makes a simple incision into the back of the patient’s earlobe. But that quick cut is enough to release the floodgates. The lobe quickly spills a waterfall of yellow-hued cyst contents, which Dr. Lee puts it in slow motion for good measure.

“It kind of looks like butter or custard,” Dr. Lee tells the patient in the video. One commenter even went so far as to call the patient's ear a “Boston cream earlobe.”

After draining the cyst, Dr. Lee goes back in to remove the sac wall. In the clip, Dr. Lee says the patient previously had the growth drained by another doctor, but the cyst quickly came back because the sac was left inside the earlobe. By removing the sac wall, Dr. Lee can virtually guarantee the growth will not return.

This cyst is actually considered a steatocystoma, which is a small, benign lump filled with sebum. Sebum is a yellowish oily substance that helps lubricate the hair, skin, and nails, according to the National Institute of Health.
