Watch Dr. Pimple Popper Squeeze 'Caramel-Filled' Nose Blackheads
In a new Instagram video, Dr. Pimple Popper pops countless blackheads on a patient’s nose.

A blackhead is a single pore filled with dead skin and oil, which forms a black “head” when exposed to air.
In a new Instagram video, Dr. Pimple Popper—aka dermatologist and TLC host Dr. Sandra Lee, MD—pops countless blackheads on a patient’s nose. These blackheads look like they are filled with sticky caramel, making this pop especially sweet.
In the clip, Dr. Lee uses a comedone extractor to press down on the patient’s blackheads. Doing so forces out the compacted contents inside, which appears to be goopy, tacky, and caramel colored.
“It’s very satisfying to remove these,” Dr. Lee tells the patient in the clip. “It’s satisfying for us because it looks like we are giving you a new nose.”
Dr. Lee says the patient has been to her office before, previously getting treated for blackheads in the same location. The famed dermatologist says his condition is improving with each visit, proving a good pop is all any of us really need in life.
A blackhead is a single pore filled with dead skin and oil, which forms a black “head” when exposed to air. The caramel-colored portion of the blackhead seen in this video is actually the same material as the black cap, only this material hasn’t been oxidized to create a black coloring.
