Watch Dr. Pimple Popper Pop a Sticky 'Tadpole' Blackhead
In a new Instagram video, Dr. Pimple Popper tackles a tadpole-like blackhead stuck to a patient.
One creative fan says the sticky blackhead looks like a tiny "tadpole."
A blackhead is a single pore filled with dead skin and oil, which forms a black “head” when exposed to air.
In a new Instagram video, Dr. Pimple Popper—aka, dermatologist and TLC host Dr. Sandra Lee, MD—tackles a tadpole-like blackhead on a patient. And the sticky growth just doesn’t want to go without hanging on a little longer.
In the clip, Dr. Lee makes a slight nick in what she calls a “blackhead-slash-cyst,” which is located right above a healing scar. The famed dermatologist then pushes against the patient with her fingers to force the blackhead out, while being gentle enough to not disturb the still-healing tissue. The blackhead easily pops out, allowing Dr. Lee to grip it with some tweezers. But the sticky blackhead decides to hang on as its forced out, giving a bit of a fight.
“A little tadpole,” one fan commented. Well, this is one baby blackhead that sure is stubborn.
