Watch David Dobrik Try to Tackle Our ‘Expensive Taste Test’
Hey, quick obvious update: David Dobrik is down for just about anything. So it's only natural that we drag him in to the Cosmo offices and make him decipher what is fancy and what is not in this episode of Expensive Taste Test, right? Right. Fair warning, the YouTube king claims he has really bad taste buds but like he's clearly still down. Buckle up.
First up: bras. Yes, the supportive BFFs you love to hate and hate to love! But if you, like David, haven't been shelling out $$$ for bras since you hit puberty how could you figure out which is more expensive without trying them on? Answer: You can’t. Which is why, with the help of one Cosmo staffer, David tried the bra on himself. And the trick worked because he finished the round on top—but he definitely needs to get his chest measured.
Next up, if you thought creating YouTube content was David’s number one talent, well think again. We present to you, his gum tricks. ("tricks" is a generous term here, TBH!) An entire package of gum later, he finally KICKED the bubblegum into his mouth. He may have ruined the backdrop and got the answer wrong, but that’s showbiz baby!
Finally, it was time for David to baptize some Barbies to correctly guess the bougier shampoo. Yes, you read that correctly. And yes, he ruled this one too.
Okay fam, I'm not gonna spoil any more of the video for you but I will say that it was all fun and games until David decided to lash out and tell us we “don’t get what expensive is” and are “buying the wrong products.”
