You Need to Watch Chrissy Teigen’s Mom Do ‘Expensive Taste Test’

I don’t think a mother-daughter duo has ever made more sense than Pepper Thai and Chrissy Teigen. Both of ’em are so out-there and fun that the fact that they share DNA really checks out. In this edition of Expensive Taste Test, Pepper joined us from a kitchen and unintentionally made a case for why she should really have her own cooking show by, like, yesterday.

Pepper just released The Pepper Thai Cookbook: Family Recipes From Everyone’s Favorite Thai Mom, so naturally, the theme of this Expensive Taste Test episode was Thai food essentials. Pepper had to taste different spices, rice noodles, and hot sauces to gauge their priciness, and she was very determined! Fun fact: During the game, Pepper revealed that she’s firmly anti-Tabasco sauce because American hot sauces use too much vinegar. Now that’s what I call a hot take! (I’ll be here all week, folks.)
