Chris Hemsworth packed on an extreme amount of muscle for the latest Thor movie, and chronicled his body transformation through online gym updates. But as well as pursuing his own gains, he is also dedicated to encouraging other people of all fitness levels exercise more, and frequently shares workouts from his wellness app Centr on social media. These have ranged from accessible, low-impact routines to more intense supersets and muscle-building "burner" sessions.

In a recent video on Instagram, Hemsworth announced that over the next eight weeks, he will be sharing a series of new workouts which he helped to program along with the Centr team. While some of them will include a small amount of equipment—medicine balls and barbells have featured prominently in previous workouts—the first installment in this new series is an equipment-free routine that focuses exclusively on bodyweight exercises, and can therefore be performed at home or anywhere else.

And to prove exactly that, Hemsworth demonstrates the entire circuit while on the top deck of a Naval ship in the middle of the ocean, allegedly not far from the set of the recent movie Top Gun: Maverick. Hemsworth describes this unconventional workout space as "one of the greatest locations I've ever had the pleasure of training in."

The bodyweight routine consists of the following:

  • Squats (5 reps)

  • Bear crawl (5 meters)

  • Sit throughs (10 reps)

  • Pushups (10 reps)

  • Mountain climbers (10 reps on each side)

  • Static lunges (5 reps on each side)

  • Ice skaters (5 reps on each side)

Rest for 60 seconds after each round, and perform the circuit a total of 10 times.
