Watch: Charly Quivront Expertly Weaves Through Morocco’s Endless Tunnels

From France, it’s an easy flight to Morocco. But the two countries might as well be a world apart. From culture to landscape to waves, France and Morocco are on opposite ends of the spectrum. So it makes sense why France’s Charly Quivront would want a change of scenery, and jump a flight south for a pumping swell.

“We were in Hossegor with my friends and a big storm was on the way so we escaped to Morocco and went on a strike mission to Safi, a wave that I’ve always dreamed of surfing,” Quivront explains alongside this clip. “Luckily enough we were on a plane to surf that swell. We ended up only getting one surf with a proper swell then the swell died. But most surprising experience there was to be able to surf a beachbreak that was smilar to home but in Morocco with only a few friends in the water.”
