Watch This Black Cat Brilliantly Use a Door Knocker and Tell Me You're Not Amazed
Every so often, a video of an animal doing something incredible goes viral, and each time we humans are less worthy of the gift. It's just a fact. Most recently, Sheekilah Jones shared a video on Facebook of a black cat using a door knocker.
As you can see, the cat sits perched on the handrail leading up to the white door of the red brick home, stretching the tiny paw up to reach the gold knocker. It's honestly the cutest thing I've seen since that border collie saved the tiny chihuaha from being hit by an SUV in Canada.
"I'm either seeing things because it's 6 a.m.," Sheekilah wrote, "Or this cat is actually knocking the door?" Honestly, even with the video footage, I am still in disbelief. But, after carefully examining it 3,127 times (mostly because how can I not watch this on repeat?!), I can confidentally say this brilliant kitty was, in fact, knocking.
Unfortunately, the video doesn't capture whether or not the homeowner(s) ended up answering the door-and nobody knows whether they're even the cat's humans. But my hope is either (a) they at least let the little fella in for a treat, or (b) the cat ding-dong-ditched them. Either way, this video is priceless.
