Watch Beyoncé Sing 'When You Wish Upon A Star' Like An Angel On Disney's Family Singalong Special

Beyoncé gave the world the ultimate blessing tonight: a surprise appearance on Disney's Family Singalong. The singer shared a message to families before singing a truly angelic rendition of "When You Wish Upon a Star" from Pinocchio.

"I'm proud and honored to be part of the Disney family and to help present the Disney song singalong in partnership with Feeding America," Beyoncé said before bursting into song. "I'd like to dedicate this song to all of the healthcare workers who have been working tirelessly to keep us healthy and safe. We greatly appreciate you."

As she wrapped her performance, she sent a message to everyone: “Please hold onto your families tight. Please be safe. Don’t give up hope. We’re gonna get through this. I promise. God bless you.”

Beyoncé voiced Nala in the live action remake of The Lion King that came out last summer. She spoke to ABC News at the time about how taking on the role meant so much to her because she grew up watching the original cartoon.

"I am still a bit in shock that I'm a part of this film because I grew up watching The Lion King," she said. "It's the first Disney movie [that] brought me to tears."

"Being a mother, my family is my biggest priority," she continued. "It's not many films that the parents can go and feel the way I feel about I feel about The Lion King and…pass that legacy on to their kids."
