Watch: Ben Gravy Surfs Germany's 'Longest Wave'

What's next when you've successfully surfed all 50 states?

If you're Ben Gravy, you graduate to surfing every country in the world. Duh.

After a decade of chasing waves with a soft top, the self-proclaimed novelty wave surfer has now officially surfed Germany. And guess what? It wasn't on a soft top.

Gravy captioned the video above:

If I'm being honest it's been tough for me to commit to surfing every country in the world. It's a TALL order to say the least, but I decided to start the journey by first visiting the countries that have been on my bucket list forever. Germany isn't know for surfing, but today we proved that there's more to surfing in Germany than just the Eisbach River Wave in Munich. I'm excited to continue the trip through Europe & share more of my dreams with you! THANK YOU! - Ben

When he first arrives at the river, Gravy doesn't feel very confident he'll be able to catch a wave. Armed with a 10-foot nose rider because his soft tops didn't arrive, he was still stoked.

"All I've gotta say is, I've never ever imagined myself living out these dreams like this. I'm in the middle of Germany, in the middle of the countryside, waiting for a tanker to come by to see if I can catch a wave off the back of it," he said. "This is an absolute dream come true."

About half way through the vlog, a ferry cruises by and the regular-foot scores a left.

"I don't think anyones ever been more stoked over a knee-high wave in their life."

Mission accomplished.

The viewers had some recommendations for other European surf destinations:

"Dude, you defo need to come to the Netherlands. We have surfable waves over here (but not often and almost always with wind)."

"You need to go to Munich to surf the "Eisbach"!!! It's pretty much always nuking there"

"my favorite spot in germany is binz on the island of rügen. it can get big and fun after heavy northeast to east winds. its a true novelty for many reasons. unfortunately its only going off a few times a year"
