Watch Amy Poehler & Nick Offerman Roast Each Other with Crafting Puns

Just because they’re hosting a reality series doesn’t mean Amy Poehler and Nick Offerman are taking a serious approach.

In honor of the upcoming premiere of NBC’s Making It, the Parks and Rec alums challenged one another to an inaugural pun-off, and it didn’t disappoint. Basically, the video features Poehler and Offerman firing off crafting puns in an attempt to offend the other person, but in reality, it ends up being one of the friendliest roasts we’ve ever seen.

In the clip, Poehler and Offerman stare into each other’s eyes before delivering a series of crafting puns while trying to keep straight faces. Highlights include “No way, crochet,” “Son of a patch” and “I macro-made you, and I can macro-break you just as easy.”

Making It, previously titled The Handmade Project, is a six-episode reality competition featuring expert crafters completing projects in an attempt to impress Poehler and Offerman, along with an esteemed panel of judges.

Let the (crafting) games begin. Making It will premiere on Tuesday, July 31, on NBC.
