How to Watch the 2023 U.S. Open Golf Championship

This year's U.S. Open Golf Championship raised its prize money purse to $20 million, so the winning golfer on Sunday will take home $3.6 million.

"In general for us, we want this to be big," Mike Whan, CEO of the USGA, said. "We have to find the right balance of bigness in terms of where we play it, how we televise it, how many people we let on this golf course. I think purse is part of that."

Competing for this year's championship include the top golfers on the PGA Tour, Scottie Scheffler, Jon Rahm, and Rory McIlroy, and LIV Golf players Brooks Koepka, Dustin Johnson, and Phil Mickelson. All eyes are on the sport right now due to the proposed LIV Golf and PGA Tour merger, which has sent shockwaves through the golf world.

Round one, Thursday, June 15:

In addition to the stream, Peacock will carry the new "U.S. Open All Access" show on the first three rounds, which will "complement the live broadcast by doing whip-arounds from the main telecast, featured groups and featured holes as well as featuring a range camera to look at competitors preparing for their rounds."
