Today, King Charles III's official birthday is celebrated for the first time with the annual Trooping the Colour parade. While his official birthday is November 14 (making him a Scorpio, if you were wondering), he celebrates his birthday in June, as British sovereigns have historically done due to the nicer weather.

Trooping the Colour will begin around 10:30 a.m. in London (5:30 a.m. eastern / 2:30 a.m. pacific), and the royal family will appear on the Buckingham Palace balcony around 1 p.m. local time (8 a.m. eastern / 5 a.m. pacific). Along with King Charles, Queen Camilla, Prince William, Kate Middleton, and other members of the royal family are expected to be on the balcony. Last year, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis made their Trooping the Colour carriage debut, and are widely expected to be in a carriage again this year.
