One of the biggest awards shows of the year is returning with a star-studded lineup and a hilarious host tonight. This year's American Music Awards will be held in front of a live audience in Los Angeles with "WAP" rapper Cardi B making her hosting debut. As awards shows have returned to their full splendor this year, the performances have gotten bigger, and with Olivia Rodrigo, BTS, Bad Bunny, and more set to perform, the AMAs are a can't-miss event tonight. What to Know
The 2021 American Music Awards will air live on ABC on Sunday, November 21 at 8 p.m ET. Hosted by Cardi B, the ceremony will be aired live from the Microsoft Theater in LA. The full ceremony will also be available to stream on Hulu the next morning.
Who's Performing
Olivia Rodrigo, who leads with seven nominations this year, will make her AMA debut this year. BTS will return to the AMA stage in their first live U.S. performance since the pandemic began, with a performance of their collaboration with Coldplay, "My Universe." Bad Bunny, Tainy, Julieta Venegas will also have a world-premiere performance of their song "Lo Siento BB:/."
Other announced performers include Kane Brown, Chlöe, Diplo, Mickey Guyton, Walker Hayes, Måneskin, New Edition and New Kids on The Block, Silk Sonic's Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak, Tyler, The Creator, Carrie Underwood with Jason Aldean, and Zoe Wees.
Megan thee Stallion was previously set to perform with BTS, but she let her fans know earlier this week that she had to drop out due to an "unexpected personal matter."
