How to Watch the 2019 MTV VMAs

This year’s MTV VMAs are being hosted live tomorrow evening (8 p.m. ET) from New Jersey’s Prudential Center, the first time in its brand-new location. Known as music’s biggest night, the 36th annual awards ceremony, which will be hosted by comedian Sebastian Maniscalco, is set to feature a celeb-filled roster of performers, including Vogue cover girl Taylor Swift, Shawn Mendes, Camila Cabello, Lizzo, Lil Nas X, and many more; Missy Elliott will also be awarded the 2019 Video Vanguard Award.

With the VMAs’s history of memorable—and oftentimes shocking or controversial—moments and performances, it’s bound to be the topic of discussion this week. Plus, expect tons of postshow internet memes too. No cable? No problem! Below, see how you can tune in.

How to Watch

For those with cable service, the VMAs will be broadcast across a range of Viacom networks: That includes MTV, MTV2, VH1, BET, CMT, Comedy Central, Logo TV, Paramount Network, and TV Land.

For those without a TV, the show can also be livestreamed on MTV Live here; a preshow, beginning at 7 p.m. ET, will be streamed on the platform as well, with performances from Megan Thee Stallion and more. Meanwhile other livestreaming sites, such as FuboTV, have MTV on their roster as well and can be signed up for using a free one-week trial.
