While competition in PyeongChang, South Korea, is already underway, the Winter Olympics hasn’t officially started until the torch is lit at the Opening Ceremony.

The iconic ceremony, which is projected to be one of the coldest ever, is expected to draw nearly 35,000 fans at PyeongChang’s Olympic Stadium.

Here’s everything you need to know ahead of the Opening Ceremony.

Watch live:

Do you want to watch the Opening Ceremony live? You’ll have to get up pretty early. The Opening Ceremony kicks off at 5 p.m. in South Korea, or 6 a.m. ET.

Fans can watch the live stream here, but will only hear natural sound from the event instead of NBC’s commentary.

Watch in primetime:

NBC will re-air the Opening Ceremony in primetime on Friday night at 8 p.m. ET — this time with commentary from Katie Couric and Mike Tirico.
