Watch this 1-year-old try on glasses that let her see clearly for the first time ever

Starting at around 8 months old, Ireland Scarbrough would hold toys close to her face, hated books, and would tilt her head while watching her favorite TV shows."We didn’t really think much of it until around 10 months we would notice her eye would almost 'give up' and not track as well as her other eye," Ireland's mother Maraena said. "We told the pediatrician and they put in a consult for a pediatric ophthalmologist."After discovering their daughter is extremely far-sighted, her parents Maraena and Henry bought Ireland her first pair of glasses. That's when the magic happened. Watch the moment 1-year-old Ireland lights up with joy after seeing clearly for the first time.

"Once we put them on she was a little confused at first but you quickly saw her face change and come to the realization how clearly she could see things," Scarbrough said. "It truly was a beautiful moment. Her dad and I had no idea that they would make this big of a difference. "
