It’s one thing to read about the Lamborghini Revuelto, it’s another to see it in action.

The Italian marque has just shared a new video of its latest supercar being taken for a run around the Autodromo Piero Taruffi in Vallelunga, just north of Rome. The clip showcases the many ways in which the Revuelto will be fun to drive—especially around the race track.

Factory driver Andrea Caldarelli pilots the Revuelto and provides commentary during the three-minute-long video. The supercar may be the brand’s first series-production hybrid (the Sían was a limited-edition model) but the exclamations of joy littered throughout the clip make clear that it’s still a true Raging Bull. This comes across almost immediately, as you watch the driver perform a burnout before rocketing toward the first set of turns which he is able to slalom through with ease thanks in part to the car’s active-aero elements. Caldarelli—who will drive the new SC63 endurance race car next season—spends the rest of the clip either accelerating or power-sliding around the 2.5-mile circuit.

It’s not that much of a surprise to find out that the Revuelto is a beast. The supercar’s plug-in hybrid powertrain includes a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V-12 and three electric motors that combine to pump out 1,001 hp and 793 ft-lbs of torque. Thanks to all that oomph it can launch from zero to 60 mph in 2.5 seconds and hit a top speed of 217 mph. The positioning of the motors—with two on the front axle and the other integrated into the rear-mounted, eight-speed dual-clutch gearbox—means the vehicle has all-wheel drive, ensuring it has more dynamic handling than almost any Lambo before it.

Production of Revuelto began this summer summer and deliveries are expected to commence before the end of the year. If you haven’t already reserved your build slot, prepare for a long wait to get behind the wheel of the supercar. Lamborghini has gone on record to say that the Revuelto order books are filled through 2025. The vehicle starts at $604,000, although that price can quickly climb skyward with add-ons, comfortably making it the brand’s most expensive flagship model yet.
