Washed-up mannequin terrifies Florida beachgoers
A volunteer for an environmental nonprofit was doing a cleanup on a beach in Perdido Key, Fla., when she thought she saw a dead body. and someone nearby apparently called 911. The volunteer, named Kathleen, said she believed she was looking at a decapitated body. Fortunately for everyone, it turned out to be a store mannequin covered in barnacles. It’s unclear how long the mannequin was in the water or where it came from. A lot of weird things seem to occur on Florida beaches.
