Stephen Curry won't return to action Sunday, but Warriors believe he'll be back in March
The Golden State Warriors will have to wait a few more days to get Stephen Curry back. Curry has made progress in his recovery from a broken hand, but he won’t return to action Sunday.
The Warriors released an injury update for Curry on Saturday. Though Curry won’t play in Sunday’s game, his return should be close. Curry will practice with the Warriors on Monday.

Curry has been out since Oct. 30 due to the injury. He’s played in just four games this season, averaging 20.3 points and 6.5 assists.
The 31-year-old Curry was reportedly targeting a return Sunday, but the team decided Friday that it wanted Curry to get in a few more practices, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.
Stephen Curry has been determined and preparing to play on March 1, but sides determined Friday that he will not return Sunday vs. Wizards. Warriors want Curry to have more practice time and target return is uncertain, sources say.

Should the Warriors bring Stephen Curry back?
While the Warriors have delayed Curry’s return, the team sounds committed to getting Curry back on the court this season. Steve Kerr said he wanted Curry to gain some familiarity with all the new players the team has brought in this season, especially Andrew Wiggins.
Without Curry and Klay Thompson, the Warriors sit at 12-47 and have the worst record in the NBA. The Warriors have already said Thompson will not play this season due to an ACL injury.
