Warner Bros. Japan and WIT Studios are currently developing a Suicide Squad anime.

According to reports, the news announced by Warner Bros. Pictures at Anime Expo and unveiled the title Suicide Squid ISEKAI. Not a lot of information about the anime has been revealed, but a short teaser does give viewers a first look at Harley Quinn, Joker and Amanda Waller. Eri Osada of Jujutsu Kaisen is set to helm the title, however a voice cast is yet to be announced.

The latest live-action The Suicide Squad film was helmed by James Gunn as a reboot to David Ayer's 2016 version, and starred Margot Robbie, Idris Elba, John Cena, Joel Kinnaman, Sylvester Stallone, Viola Davis, David Dastmalchian, Daniela Melchior, Michael Rooker, Jai Courtney, Peter Capaldi, Alice Braga, and Pete Davidson. It led to a Peacemaker spinoff starring Cena while two additional spinoffs, including one focused on Amanda Waller, are in the works.
