Warner Bros. Announces ‘Young Sheldon’ & ‘Big Bang Theory’ Crossover & Um, What?

This brand-new Big Bang Theory news is throwing a wrench in Sheldon’s space-time continuum.

Warner Bros. just announced the ultimate crossover event: Big Bang Theory meets Young Sheldon. The cast of the CBS spin-off series—including Iain Armitage (Sheldon), Montana Jordan (Georgie) and Lance Barber (George Sr.)—will make special guest appearances in the 12th (and final) season of BBT.

To address what we’re all thinking, the network hasn’t revealed how they’ll handle the fact that these two shows take place in two completely different time periods. (30 years to be exact.) Will Sheldon (Jim Parsons) have a life-changing flashback? Or will he reunite with his former self à la This Is Us?

We have no freaking clue. All we know is the special will air this December on CBS, and it’s going to be nostalgic AF.
