GABBY RIVERA: There is so much ancestral joy that we haven't tapped into. We talk about generational trauma. I want to talk about generational triumph. Real love and joy comes with saying, oh my God, I see everything that you have experienced and I want to hold space for you, and how can we make it better?

We're not done because look at me, I'm 37. I haven't been to Puerto Rico since I was 11. I want to know my roots. I'm not done. I want to sit and soak up the land and the culture and feel like I'm home. Like I'm somewhere that my people have been and not somewhere that they were forced to go. You know? I mean, we're not done. There's so much, so much more rebellious fun to be had.
