While wood has long been a go-to material in furniture, fresh new work shows that designers are branching out, making use of coconut shells, agave fibers, and more. It’s a trend that feels perfectly timed to the spring season, as we swap out lacquer and chrome finishes for those that feel more a part of the great outdoors.
