Yes, Walmart's Black Friday Sales Have Already Begun

With Thanksgiving coming up, you're probably busy thinking about pecan pie, turkey, and quality time with family (not to mention all of those delicious Thanksgiving leftovers). But Walmart's Black Friday hours? Nah, that isn't on your mind just yet—and it likely won't be until after the holiday.

After all, that's when Black Friday takes place, right? After Thanksgiving?

Well, not always! This, year, Walmart is rolling out another month-long Black Friday experience. The retailer is offering three separate promotional events, collectively called "Black Friday Deals for Days," in an effort to make the sale safer for both customers and employees.

"By spreading deals out across multiple days and making our hottest deals available online, we expect the Black Friday experience in our stores will be safer and more manageable," commented Scott McCall, executive vice president and chief merchandising officer for Walmart U.S., in a statement.

What are Walmart's Black Friday hours in 2021?

The superstore just released details about its 2021 Black Friday Deals for Days hours (and we've got information on Walmart's Thanksgiving hours, too, if you're curious!). The first sale began online at 7 p.m. ET on November 3, then transitioned to an in-store sale on November 5.

The second sale is set to start online on November 10 at 7 p.m. ET and continue in-store at 5 a.m. local time November 12. Information on the third date is not yet available.

Last year's new safety precautions are in effect this year, too: Social distancing is encouraged, plastic barriers are being used to ensure that store clerks and shoppers stayed safe, and masks are required within the store.

Also like last year, you'll see a few more pickup and delivery options offered, including next-day or two-day shipping on select orders and a contact-free curbside pickup service.
