Sour Patch Kids are known for being “sour then sweet,” and that’s the case with the brand’s conversation hearts for Valentine’s Day. In this case, instead of referring to the taste, this candy is referencing the messages on the hearts. Hey, you can’t be sweet all the time, right?

The pink, orange, blue, and green hearts feature messages on them like “DM ME,” “FRIEND ZONE,” “BRUH,” “OVR IT,” “YAS,” “EW NO,” “LOL :),” AND “<3.” So choose your message while when sharing with someone else.

In a battle of Things I Like vs. Things I Don’t Like, Sour Patch Kids Conversation Hearts exist. The list of Things I Don’t Like grows by one, because I hate these. Same chalky crap you expect from convo hearts, with a sour flavor that definitely isn’t reminiscent of Sour Patch Kids. Sour chalk. I didn’t even care for the red ones, which is saying something. The only fun thing is the bag mixes sweet messages (ex: Bae) with some sour messages (ex: Ew No). However I think my bag is broken because 90% of mine say “UR FAT” and “DON’T TEXT.” 😕

Keep in mind that the conversation hearts are not similar to the original Sour Patch Kids. These are not covered in sour sugar and are not chewy - instead, they have a similar chalky consistency to typical conversation hearts, according to popular food Instagram account @junkbanter.

Multiple Instagram users revealed that they found Sour Patch Kids Conversation Hearts at Walmart, however, they are not (yet) listed on the website. Some Amazon accounts are selling bags for $10, which we bet is much more than the store price. Hold onto just a little bit of patience, and they’re bound to hit shelves at a retailer near you.
