Walmart Is Selling an 'Elegant' $10 Black Hanging Planter That's So Similar to a Pottery Barn Style Almost 7x the Price

The sun’s out more and the weather is finally not freezing. So now’s the perfect time to grab your planters and some soil and start hanging them up on your deck or in your home. While you might have some trusty pots around your home, if you’re looking for more, Walmart has some nice ones to choose from. One of their best-selling hanging planters is currently on sale and looks so similar to a Pottery Barn style over several times the price.
Walmart’s Better Homes & Gardens 8in Black Ceramic Tiffany Hanging Planter is selling pretty rapidly and it’s easy to see why. It’s on sale right now for $9.92, but even its usual $12.84 is more than affordable. But in addition to it being inexpensive, it looks great. As its name states, it’s ceramic and has a textured fabric pattern on the outside. This planter has a matching black rope that comes together on three sides and fits up to 2.2-quart foliage. It measures 8.5 inches wide, 8.5 inches in diameter and 4.1 inches high.

As its description suggests, you can put a plant in there but it can also hold candles, succulents or more. It also has a drainage hole so that you don’t overwater whatever plant you put in there. Plus, for the price, it looks pretty good with some reviewers calling it “elegant.”
“It is ceramic, pretty heavy, well made,” one person wrote on Walmart’s site. “... There are three holes in the sides where thick elastic rope hanger attaches. Looks like it would be durable outside. Perfect for indoor plants."
Another person wrote about how the “planter is so pretty,” with a “shiny black color and design” that they love.
“The black rope that holds it up is sturdy and thick,” they continued. “It can definitely hold up my plant even on a windy day. It hangs low enough to water easily but high enough that it doesn't get in the way. Really lovely planter"
It’s a somewhat new planter so it only has 32 reviews in total, with the majority being positive. But in addition to what customers said about how good it looks and how inexpensive it is, it also resembles a Pottery Barn planter seven times the price.

However, it’s made of plastic. It has a drainage hole and one rope that connects to two sides of the planter.
For a fraction of the price, Walmart’s Better Homes & Gardens 8-inch Black Ceramic Tiffany Hanging Planter is definitely worth a shot if you need a new planter this spring.
