Walmart Is Selling a 'Cozy' Cotton Blanket That Looks So Similar to a West Elm Style That's Almost 4x the Price

It’s about time we pack up those extra thick blankets we’ve been using to stay warm and swap in some lighter versions better suited for the summer. We still like bundling up when it's warm out, but the blankets need to be made from the right super-breathable material.

Our go-to fabric is cotton, and more specifically this muslin blanket from Emme that we found at Walmart. It’s “very soft and comfortable,” according to reviewers, and we have our eye on it as the perfect throw for the summer season.

Shoppers describe this throw blanket as “lightweight,” “very soft,” and “comfortable,” yet it “feels cozy” at the same time. The material is made from 100% cotton, and you can currently shop it in two sizes: twin and queen.

Plus you can take your pick from 10 incredible hues. Go for a neutral blanket if that fits the color scheme of the space you’re decorating, or have some fun with a bolder shade to brighten up your aesthetic.

This blanket’s simplicity is what makes it look — and feel — like a high-end item, but it doesn’t carry the high-end price. We compared it to this super similar version from West Elm, and apart from some minor differences in size, we don’t think anyone would be able to tell which one is which. They’re both made from 100% cotton, have a similar woven material design, and are even available in similar hues.

The biggest difference between these two blankets (and the most important one in our books) is the price. If you go with the Walmart blanket, you’ll save a nice chunk of change without sacrificing quality for the price. As one shopper states, this affordable pick’s quality is “superb,” and another says they were “impressed” with the blanket’s high-end feel.
