Want to add more freshness to this meal? Try adding something like our Chopped Salad with Chickpeas, Olives & Feta or a Caprese Salad with Cherry Tomatoes.
For something fruity, our Watermelon, Cucumber & Corn Salsa with crispy tortilla chips is always a hit. Or throw together a Blueberry-Peach Salad with Sesame-Ginger Balsamic Vinaigrette.
Don’t love hot dogs but want to stay within a budget? Try cheaper cuts of meat to toss on the grill. Pick up bone-in chicken thighs to make Grilled Chicken with Citrus-BBQ Glaze. Or make a marinade for a beef sirloin steak. After it comes off the grill, let it rest for 5-10 minutes then slice it thin to make it go further.
Want to really wow your crowd? Try grilling watermelon slices. Have various toppings available and mix it up—like ancho chili powder with lime zest, or feta cheese crumbles and balsamic glaze.
Craving something sweet? Save the ice pops and cookies for the kids. For a more grown-up dessert, try our Lemon-Raspberry Dump Cake or Strawberry Rhubarb Icebox Cake—both perfect endings to a summertime barbecue.
