When it comes to Walmart, there are many good food options the retail giant has to offer, and we’re not just talking about what’s found in the grocery aisle either.

Between the deli section hot bar that offers cheap lunch combo meals and a solid pastry lineup at the bakery (those mini strawberry butter cakes are a must), Walmart has a way of keeping us full and happy in between shopping.

Now, it has a new grab-and-go section coming soon that we can’t wait to try, with super fresh ingredients that will give us some serious Hawaiian-style vibes.

Uncle Sharkii Poke Bar Coming Soon to Walmart

The fast-food poke bowl franchise Uncle Sharkii has partnered up with Walmart to offer poke bars to shoppers. California is said to be the first of this nationwide expansion with ten locations opening within the next few months.

The new poke bars will offer anything from Hawaiian Poke Bowls (think: ahi tuna, salmon, or tofu mixed with rice and fresh veggies with your choice of sweet and tangy sauce) and flavored Boba Milk Teas (Bubble tea made with milk, sugar and tapioca pearls) to Dole Soft Serve, a creamy sweet treat available in flavors including mango and pineapple.

You’ll be able to grab a light and refreshing meal or snack as you shop, and we all know how shopping can make us hungry and thirsty.

“My dream has been to bring the essence of the Sharkii Ohana to millions of families who shop at Walmart,” said Fen Reyes, Founder and CEO of Uncle Sharkii. “This is a monumental step in a major push to achieve Uncle Sharkii’s mission to bring ‘Affordable Poke Bowls to the Masses!'”

There’s not too much talk yet about what these new poke bars will look like except they will have a modern feel and will be family-friendly which is ideal for those who are shopping with their kids.

“We hope to reach America at its core and to bring the ‘Spirit of Aloha’ to everybody across this great country!” said Raymond Reyes, Co-Founder and COO of Uncle Sharkii. “Growing up in Hawai’i, Walmart has always become a gathering point for locals, tourists, and families alike. There is the sense of community and a creation of nostalgia for everyone that visits its stores. I never in my wildest dreams ever thought that partnering up with Walmart would be ever possible in my lifetime and look forward to a fruitful partnership together.”
