Wallingford man pleads guilty to sexually exploiting underage girls, drug trafficking

A Wallingford man pleaded guilty to federal drug trafficking and child enticement charges on Tuesday, according to the U.S. Attorney’s office.

Christopher Liscio, 40, of Wallingford pleaded guilty in Bridgeport federal court to one count of enticement of a minor to engage in illegal sexual activity, one count of conspiracy to distribute and to possess with intent to distribute oxycodone and one count of possession with intent to distribute 500 grams or more of cocaine.

According to court records, Liscio used Snapchat to entice two girls who were 15 and 13 years old to take sexually explicit pictures and videos of themselves and send them to him between January 2016 and February 2020.

The communications with the 13-year-old extended until she was about 16, according to federal authorities. The communications with the 15-year-old occurred until she was about 16. Liscio also engaged in sexual acts with the second victim on multiple occasions when she was 15 and 16 years old, federal authorities said.

Liscio was arrested on state charges related to the sexual assault of a minor in February 2020. While out on bond in his state case, he allegedly sold around 2,000 30mg oxycodone pills from February to April of 2020, the U.S. Attorney’s office said.

Liscio has been in custody since his federal arrest on May 26, 2021. Police searched his Wallingford home on that day and allegedly found around 500 grams of cocaine, items used to package and sell narcotics and $22,440 in cash, federal authorities said.

Liscio faces 10 years to life in prison, according to federal authorities. His sentencing date has not yet been determined.

The case against Liscio was investigated by Homeland Security Investigations and the Drug Enforcement Administration’s New Haven Tactical Diversion Squad, along with the help of the Wallingford, Middletown and Fremont (N.H.) Police Departments.
