There has been so much alarming Teen Mom news as of late. Amber Portwood is currently in the news for allegedly attacking her boyfriend with a machete and Jenelle Evans has been involved in a bunch of legal issues stemming from her husband, David Eason, shooting and killing their dog, Nugget. However, Jenelle's troubles seem to be totally made up because according to some news sources, she faked the entire thing for publicity.

Here's the deal: According to a local NBC affiliate, when the police conducted their animal cruelty investigation against David in May, they also went to check out their home and found "no blood evidence or any other physical evidence to validate that an animal had been fatally injured on the property.”

The police also stated that Jenelle admitted that she only heard a gunshot and didn't actually see David shoot the dog. And when she was interviewed on May 14, she said she didn't know where the dog was.

According to a news release from the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office, "Jenelle stated that the reason she filed the animal cruelty report was for the publicity and because she did not know where her dog was." The police went on to add, "The evidence collected indicates that the allegations of animal cruelty were fabricated. Therefore, Columbus County Sheriff’s Office is closing this investigation. No charges will be filed in this case."
