Wedding bells are definitely in the future for Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani-but they aren't ringing quite yet.

The Voice coach and his longtime girlfriend, who first began dating in 2015, have been brushing off engagement rumors for years. But lately, it's beginning to seem more and more likely that Blake is going to get down on one knee and propose to Gwen. Here's all the evidence that suggests the celebrity couple will get engaged soon.

First, Blake joked about Gwen proposing to him.

Earlier this year, Blake appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and discussed the possibility of a proposal with the daytime talk show host. Ellen explained to the country singer that she had given Jennifer Lopez a giant clock to give to her then-boyfriend Alex Rodriguez as a reminder that the "clock is ticking." Within a just a few weeks, the former MLB star proposed.

Naturally, Ellen tried the same tactic on Blake.

"I have something for you to give [Gwen]," she said, handing over a clock featuring a photo of him and Gwen kissing.

"So you're saying . . . there's a chance she's going to ask me to marry her? With this clock?" Blake joked as he accepted the gift.

"Now that she knows that you're waiting for her to ask, now that she's sees this, she'll ask you," Ellen played along. "I'll call her tonight."

Then Gwen's kids appeared next to Blake on the red carpet.

In early May, Blake and Gwen celebrated the UglyDolls premiere in Los Angeles with a few special guests: all three of Gwen's sons.

The crew of five-including Apollo, 5, Kingston, 12, and Zuma, 10-looked adorable for their red carpet debut and posed for sweet family photos together outside the movie theater. Apollo even showed off his country style with a pair of black cowboy boots that we can't help but think were a nod to his mom's man.

Soon after, Blake referred to Gwen's niece as his own.

Blake added fuel to the ongoing engagement gossip with one subtle remark he made in a video posted to Instagram.

In the clip, the country star is promoting his Smithworks vodka brand with a goofy ball-toss game.

"I'm playing my niece, Madeline, tonight," he says casually.

Fans instantly pointed out the logistics behind Blake's word choice: he was referring to Gwen's niece as his own. While it's not concrete proof that the couple is officially official, it definitely means that Blake considers himself to be part of Gwen's family-and that's something.

Recently, Blake revealed how he'll announce his engagement "when it happens."

In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, Blake admitted that he and Gwen "couldn't be happier" and they've "never been doing better."

He also addressed their marriage rumors directly for the first time and joked that being in a "newsworthy" relationship is "a good problem to have." But then, the country star got more serious.

"Our relationship, it just gets stronger every day," Blake said. "Obviously, that's gotta lead somewhere, but I promise you, we won't break the news in any of the grocery store trash magazines."

Did you catch that?! He then went on to say that "when it happens," we'll hear about it from a "credible" source. We can only assume that in this case, "it" means an engagement. Put the champagne on ice, people!
