How to Vote on 'America's Got Talent'

Here's how to vote for 'America’s Got Talent' Season 17, including how and when to vote online and via app.

Now that the top 55 acts going into the qualifying rounds for Season 17 of America’s Got Talent have been revealed, it’s up to America to vote through their favorites as judges Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum, and Sofia Vergara are on hand to volunteer their opinions.

But this year things are going to be different than last season as there will be no semi-finals, so each act has only one chance of making it into the finals.

Here’s how it will work: Eleven acts will perform each Tuesday on the Live Shows for five weeks, ending Sept. 6. Fans will then vote for their favorites, who will be announced the following night on Wednesday's results show. The top two vote getters will move on to the finale. The remaining nine contestants will be eliminated.

The top 10 acts that are voted into the finale will be joined by an 11th act—a “Final Wildcard”—chosen by the viewers in an Instant Save on Wednesday, Sept. 7. This vote will consist of four eliminated Live Show acts, each selected by one of the judges.

Then, the Top 11 finalists will compete one last time for America’s vote and the chance to win a $1 million prize during the two-night finale on Sept. 13 and 14. The winner will also perform in the “America’s Got Talent Las Vegas LIVE” revue at the Luxor Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.

AGT voting opens every Tuesday at 8 p.m. ET during the Live Shows and closes on Wednesdays at 7 a.m. ET.

You're limited to 10 votes per method of voting.

Go to NBC.com/AGTVote and register if you have not already done so. Then you simply sign in and click on the artist you wish to vote for and assign that artist the number of votes you wish to cast. Then click the Save button.

How to vote using the America’s Got Talent app

Download the official America’s Got Talent app from the Apple App store or Google Play to watch highlights and vote. After you download the app, create an account and sign in. Click Go to Vote Now. Find the artist you wish to vote for and assign that artist the number of votes you wish to cast. Then click the Save button.
