Volunteers will help clean litter at highway exits and road entrances to Beaver

An annual volunteer project to clean up the highway exits and road entrances to Beaver takes place April 20.

"Redd Up The Beaver Ramps Litter Pick Up" begins at 9 a.m. Volunteers older than age 16 are welcome, meeting up at Town Center Associates at 1147 Third St., Beaver.

Gloves, vests and bags are provided.

In years past, the 20th annual event has typically collected around 145 bags of litter.

The event is registered through Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful.
