'Voice' Fans Are Losing It Over the Dramatic Way Blake Shelton Silenced Camila Cabello

It's a new season of The Voice and Blake Shelton is already firing up his fellow coaches.

During the two-night season 22 premiere, the country singer decided to set his pranking sights on new coach Camila Cabello in the middle of the blind auditions. It went down when Blake, Camila and Gwen Stefani turned their red chairs around after they heard Kate Kalvach sing a moving rendition of Kacey Musgraves' "Rainbow." But as Camila began sharing her thoughts about the performance, Blake introduced a new diversion tactic to the NBC competition series.

"By the time we got to the end, it was like, 'What are we doing?'" Blake told Kate. "Well, actually, it was ... ," Camila chimed in before Blake hilariously cut off her microphone by hitting his seat's button.

That's right — Blake had the ability to automatically mute her microphone. Naturally, the other Voice coaches were confused over what was happening.

"How did he do that? Mine doesn't do that!" Gwen exclaimed. "Why do you get all the cool things?" Camila said. Despite the chaos he caused in the midst of an impressive audition, he eventually gave a response that's arguably legendary: "It's part of my contract."

Still, the "Bam Bam" singer got so frustrated over being muted constantly, she tried to use Gwen, Kate and& John Legend's microphones to try to her point across. "Nobody can hear me it's fine," she joked as her microphone turned back on. "Thank you — I'm exhausted!"

Unsurprisingly, Voice fans couldn't enough of Blake's latest antic. "Blake's Mute button had me dead 😂😂😂😂😂," wrote one fan on YouTube. "OMG, with Camila being a coach with her humor and constant battles with Blake, this is the BEST SHOW we could have!!" exclaimed another viewer. "Without Blake there will be no fun to watch the voice ️❤️," a different follower added as well.

We completely agree! What's more, it seems like his prank and hometown of Ada, Oklahoma won over Kate and she joined his team.
