The competition on The Voice is already starting to heat up—especially between the coaches.

Season 18 of the NBC reality show premiered on Monday night and all eyes were on newcomer Nick Jonas. Fans were quick to call out Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson, and John Legend for "hazing" the rookie during the Blind Auditions, but he wasn't the only one getting teased.

Kelly, who has a known rivalry with Blake, did not hold back from trying to sabotage him in front of the contestants. At one point, she actually called the country star a "liar"—and he didn't deny the accusation.

It all started after Tayler Green's Blind Audition, when Kelly beat out Nick in their battle to become her coach.

"I did think I was gonna lose that one," Kelly said after Tayler chose her, prompting Blake to give Nick some advice.

"This nice guy stuff isn't gonna get you nowhere around here," Blake told him. "She doesn't mean it when she says, 'Oh, I know you're not going to go with me!'"

But Kelly was not having it.

"The only liar on this stage rhymes with 'Lake Melton,'" she joked.

"I admit it. My stuff's out front. I lie on this show every day," Blake said. He was totally unbothered—and that's probably because it's not the first time his fellow coaches have accused him of deception.

Even Blake's girlfriend Gwen Stefani called him a "cheater" last season, and their relationship is as strong as ever.

Moral of the story: All's fair in love, war, and Blind Auditions!
