VMAs 2018: All Your Favorite Stars Wore White Nail Polish
The 2018 VMAs was filled with moments of statement-making beauty. Between Cardi B's pixie cut, Amandla Stenberg's '60s style bob, and Chloe x Halle's celestial matching moment, the looks were all so different that it's near impossible to pick a favorite. But while all the hair and makeup on the carpet was decidedly unique, white manicures were everywhere, making them the #1 beauty trend of the night.
Though so many celebs opted to wear the bright neutral on their nails, each figured out a way to make their white mani individually their own. Ariana Grande used her go-to polish shade to paint little clouds on her nails, which she matched to her mom and brother, Frankie Grande, for the show, Refinery29 reports. Shay Mitchell opted for an ultra-sheer coat of the shade, and boasted on nail artist Tom Bachik's Instagram story that her new look made her feel like "a hand model." Kylie Jenner completed her head-to-toe white look with matching nails, too, opting for a set of opalescent square acrylics.
Sabrina Carpenter, Kim Petras, Blake Lively and Amara La Negra all also hit the red carpet in their own version of a white mani, which means it's about time the rest of us add the look to our fall beauty rotations.
