Von Rupp captioned his latest vlog above:

"In this latest episode, Nic and the crew venture to the beautiful coast of Safi, Morocco, chasing after its famous right-hand barrels, a true highlight in the world of surfing.

"As the crew chases the perfect wave, everyone is swept up in the hospitality and warmth of the local people, the rich flavors of Moroccan cuisine, and the sights and sounds of this ancient place.

"Despite a few travel hiccups and the unpredictable nature of the ocean, the crew ends up catching some unreal waves, making for an absolutely epic time."

Opening the video, von Rupp explains:

"We're here, not too far from Portugal but we are in a completely different place. We are on the continent of Africa right now, we are in Morocco. A beautiful place, a very nice place.

"I absolutely love this place because it's so culturally different you know. Everything is so raw and real here. Morocco is just completely different. Everywhere you drive you see the most crazy things."

Von Rupp says that his crew is taking a break from big wave surfing to, "chase down some right Moroccan point break dreams."

"There's an absolutely incredible swell in the water right now," he says.

After that, they surf and they score. Press play to join.
