Visiting Las Vegas? Then You Need to Make Time to Take a Dip in These Pools

Pool hopping in Vegas is like eating pasta in Italy: It’s 100% a must-do. After all, Sin City has some of the bougiest manmade bodies of water in the country, from the party spots (think DJs, booze, and a what-happens-in-Vegas-stays-in-Vegas vibe) to the more laid-back kind (think chill cabanas, butler service, and Zen music to keep things relaxed).
Aside from helping you live your best life, chilling in these pools is also an extremely practical way to cool off during the peak summer months, as temps regularly hit 115 in the Las Vegas Valley. With that in mind, we rounded up some of the best spots to splash around on your next trip to the Entertainment Capital of the World, whether you want to beat the heat or, ya know, bring it (sorry, had to).
Ayu Dayclub
Location: Resorts World
The pools at Ayu are inviting and refreshing, but you’re really here for the stage and live performances from well-known DJs throughout the day (Tiesto, Zedd, and Jonas Blue are regulars). The classic island escapism atmosphere only adds to the appeal, with lots of palm trees, bright flowers, and, um, very strong tropical drinks that come by the glass or by the pitcher.
Tao Beach Dayclub
Location: The Palazzo at the Venetian Resort
Just opened in spring 2022, this Asian-themed day-club that spans sister North Strip resorts Venetian and Palazzo is one of the swankiest around. Some of the highlights: plush cabanas, a state-of-the-art light and sound system that creates a nightclub-during-the-day scene, and food presentation that rivals what you’d find in a Tao restaurant (it’s the sushi boats for moi).
Garden of the Gods Pool Oasis
Location: Caesars Palace
The pool complex at Caesars remains one of the only places on the Strip where you can play swim-up blackjack…just be sure you don’t lose your chips in the deep end! There are seven pools in all, including the adults-only Venus Pool, and most of them are surrounded by statues and fountains that'll make you feel like you've traveled back in time to ancient Greece. Palm frond, anyone?
Location: Virgin Hotels Las Vegas
This beach club has a literal beach with real (imported) sand and gentle waves. It’s definitely a bumping party kinda place, with previous performances by Snoop Dogg, Lane 8, and house-music icon Tchami. Be warned: On hot summer weekends, Elia can get really, really crowded with people.
Stadium Swim
Location: Circa Las Vegas
Even if you only watch sports when you have to (you know, to show someone you love that you ~care~), this pool should still be a must on your only-in-Vegas list. Three tiers of six pools and descending rows of chaise lounges face a giant, 40-foot-tall screen that shows sporting events all day long. There are betting windows, too.
Red Rock Pool
Location: Summerlin
This three-acre pool complex, at Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa next to Downtown Summerlin, is a favorite among locals because it’s both swanky and generally uncrowded. One pool, dubbed Crimson, is adults-only; another has poolside blackjack on weekends and some weekdays. A full food menu with snacks (quesadillas, nachos, etc.) is available all day long.
Sapphire Pool
Location: Sapphire Pool & Dayclub
If you want to lean into the Vegas of it all, there may be no better spot than the Sapphire Pool, which has bottle service (plus lots of other booze), a live DJ, and pole dancers. Bougie bonus: Admission includes transportation, usually in a limo.
Boulevard Pool
Location: The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas
It’s always a good time at this pool, which is the larger of two pools at The Cosmopolitan. On Monday nights, the 40-foot-tall Strip-side marquee turns into a giant movie screen, and guests can watch from chaise lounges or from the pool. On Thursday nights, the pool hosts sunset cocktail hour, with fun drink and food specials like pizza pockets (!) and hummus fries.
Sky Pool
Location: Aria Resort & Casino
The Sky Suites at Aria are the nicest accommodations at the hotel, and guests of these rooms have access to Sky Pool, which is basically a private luxury pool deck throughout the summer (though it’s open to all guests in the winter). Sure, you have to stay at the hotel to reap these benefits in the summer months, but if you do, you’ll get all of the super luxe things, including butler service, complimentary refreshments, popsicles, and chilled towels.
Encore Beach Club
Location: Encore Las Vegas
Floating daybeds and cabanas with private plunge pools are among the standout features of this upscale venue at Encore. The place is a full-on party by day and night, with entertainers such as Marshmello, The Chainsmokers, and Kim Lee behind the turntables. The only caveat: Even hotel guests need to pay to get in (it’s usually around $50 or $60).
