'Virgin River' Star's TikTok Is the Place to Be for All the Season 5 Behind-the-Scenes Shenanigans

Things get out of control on her TikTok—in the best possible way.

If you’re patiently waiting for a new season of Virgin River, there’s some good news on the horizon—Alexandra Breckenridge has joined TikTok.

While that might not seem like a big deal, it's a game-changer for fans who are desperately searching for behind-the-scenes content from their favorite Netflix drama.

Breckenridge, who plays Mel Monroe on the series, doesn’t take herself too seriously on the platform, either, as evidenced by her handful of videos.

On Oct. 4, she posted her second video on the platform to the viral tune “I Wanna Go Home” by Fat Cat, which she sings into a banana while on set. Her surroundings indicate that she’s filming a night shoot at Mel’s cabin, so one can only assume this delirious greatness is a result of a long day of shooting. And in that case, we don’t blame her.

That same day, she shared another clip to TikTok, this time with her on-screen love interest, Jack, played by Martin Henderson. The two can be seen goofing off with each other as Wii music plays in the background.

She also shared the video to Instagram with the caption, “If you only knew the scene we were filming 🤣,” alluding to the fact that they are probably filming a really serious scene, which makes this all the more enjoyable.

Breckenridge followed up the next day with a video from Jack’s Bar that gave fans a glimpse at the sewing circle in the picturesque town.

It’s safe to say, fans are eating up all the hilarious videos, with one summarizing that “Alex is carrying us on her backs with this content.”

“The fact that you’ve joined TikTok is honestly the highlight of my life rn,” another wrote, while a third fan suggested they write this into the show, noting, “Mel and Jack joining TikTok should totally be a little plot on the show😂😂😂”

Others tried to pry out any information they could from the actress, wondering what happened to Charmaine and the twins and why Cam is in the sewing circle.

While it might be a bit of a wait until season 5 drops on the streaming giant—season 4 was released this past July–the good news is that we know that they are hard at work as we speak!
