It looks like Netflix hid an Easter egg for one of its popular holiday movie franchises in the latest installment of Virgin River, and most of us missed it!

As fans of the hit drama know, season 5 part 2 was all about celebrating the holiday season. One major element of the new episodes was the town's annual Christmas tree decorating competition, where all the citizens gather together to see who can create the prettiest theme.

As the townsfolk look through the collection of trees set up for judging, the camera focuses in on one that has this saying written on an ornament: "Greetings from Aldovia!" Upon seeing the bauble, some viewers on Reddit realized this was Netflix's way of dropping an Easter egg for one of their fan-favorite movies: A Christmas Prince, starring Rose McIver and Ben Lamb.

"Did anyone notice the Christmas tree bauble in one shot that said, ‘Greetings from Aldovia’?" user @hambear92 posted on November 30. "Does that mean Virgin River and [A] Christmas Prince co-exist in the same universe?!"

Upon seeing this revelation, other viewers were just as stunned in the comments. "I just saw this minutes ago and ran here to see if anyone posted. I legit LOLed 🤣🤣," user @stacasaurusrex laughed. "I was so excited to see this!" user @mandimaybridget added. "I kind of love that the Netflix Christmas universe is a thing," user @pickledstarfish declared.

Netflix posted on Facebook that the bauble was indeed a nod to A Christmas Prince. And that's not all — the final episodes of VR also reference the movie Falling for Christmas (with Lindsay Lohan and Chord Overstreet) and The Princess Switch films, starring Vanessa Hudgens and Sam Palladio.

"Who noticed that Virgin River just joined the Netflix Christmas Universe?! (🎥: Falling for Christmas, The Princess Switch, A Christmas Prince)," Netflix wrote on Facebook on December 2.

Well, now it only feels right to watch all of these movies before Christmas!
