'Virgin River' Fans Are Freaking Out Over This MAJOR Show Announcement
Virgin River fans, this is the news you've been waiting for! Season three of the popular show hit Netflix in July, and loyal viewers have been desperate to find out what happens to their favorite characters. The season ended with some major cliffhangers: What will the future hold for Mel and Jack? Who is the father of Mel's baby? Did Brady shoot Jack? Is Preacher okay? And so much more!
Well, not to worry: The show is going to be back, and Netflix confirmed on September 20 that there will be both a season 4 and a season 5.
The show's official Instagram page posted a video with this caption: "Season 4 and Season 5 picked up by Netflix! Thank each and everyone of you for all your support! We so appreciate it! 💕" And we can't get enough of the adorable footage! Stars Alexandra Breckenridge and Martin Henderson hilariously re-create the proposal scene from the end of season 3. First, Martin asks Alexandra if she wants to do a season 4, and then Alexandra turns the tables and asks Martin if he'd like to do a season 5! Of course, it's an enthusiastic "I do!" from both of them.
Fans are so thrilled to hear the news and immediately started attacking the comments section with more heart eyes emojis than we can count. One commented, "Say WHAAAAAAAAT?!
