'Virgin River' Fans Can't Stop Commenting on Martin Henderson's New Vacation Photos
It's been almost a year since Netflix viewers were last treated to new episodes of Virgin River. And while season 5 is on hold until fall 2023, that's not soon enough to find out how all of the season 4 cliffhangers are resolved. Rest assured, there's plenty more from Jack, Mel, and the rest of the Virgin River gang on the horizon: Netflix has already renewed the show for season 6.
We're not the only ones whiling away the time until new season drops (no official release date yet...). One of the show's stars, Martin Henderson, hit the road on vacation, and he shared photos from his trip with his fans on Instagram.
Martin, who portrays Mel's love interest Jack, is a native of New Zealand. He trekked to California's Mammoth Lakes for what looks like an adventurous trip. Fans will notice that the fictional town of Virgin River is in Northern California, but the series is filmed in Vancouver.
The actor shared a series of photos and videos, including a shirtless picture in front of the show-capped mountains and another of him on skis. He wrote, "Can’t believe there’s still so much snow up here at this time of year! Love being back in the Sierras…majestic mountains rising up out of the desert like an Alpine oasis providing a pure wilderness playground. #ilovecali #roadtrip #vanlife"
